Abel Axe Guitars

Abel Axe guitars have bodies made of solid 6061-T6 aluminum and are only one inch thick. Less than 250 of the original Swiss cheese body style were made from ~1994-1996.

Abel Axe guitars were available in six standard colors: red, black, blue, teal, violet, and aluminum (silver). These colors were not painted, they were anodized.

Anodization becomes part of the aluminum, it is very strong and does not chip. 

Ed Roman is always looking for Abel Axe guitars and sometime in 2010 we are planning on producing a guitar somewhat like the Abel Axe....
