Truly One Of Paul Reed Smith's Nicest
looking Guitars I Have Ever Seen
Truly A Beautiful Collector
Guitar
The solid maple body will probably make it too bright &
shrill to sound good. (What A Shame)
Normally PRS would not make a guitar like this. All maple bodies are
looked upon with disdain by most real players. They are heavy, and simply way
too bright.
I am also surprised that PRS would make a
guitar with a quilted neck. Quilted necks may be a thing of great beauty.
Sadly, quilted maple is slab cut not
quartersawn like most other PRS necks.
Quilted necks are horribly unstable. In fact I don't think I've ever seen
another one on any guitar by any manufacturer.
Quilted, & Birdseye necks will warp very easily and possibly break under
tension, I recommend plain looking straight grain.
Nothing beats a good old fashioned straight grain for stability &
straightness.
But there is definitely no
denying this is a beautiful looking guitar !!!!
