Mr.
Roman,
I commissioned a guitar from you a couple of years ago. I wanted to
really put it through its paces before casting judgment on it, and
possibly considering a review on harmony-central.
Well, time flies and it has been a good handful of years with this
guitar as a workhorse in the studio.
At the time of conception, I believed that I came to you reasonably
well versed in luthiery and guitar mechanics. Boy was I naïve. You
patiently presented me with options I had never considered, and
presented each one’s benefits and drawbacks. You always made sure
that I was aware of the prices for each option as well, and I
appreciated the transparency of your salesmanship. You helped me
through the commission process in a thoughtful, practical and frank
way. The result: The guitar of my dreams. It looks as beautifully as
it plays and sounds - I cherish every second that I get to play on
it and consider the guitar one of the best investments that I have
ever made. It is everything that I have ever wanted in an
instrument, well beyond the quality of any other guitar, violin or
cello that I have ever played.
And with the passing of time, the instrument remains as stable and
solid as the day I received it. Thus, my tardy but time-seasoned
testimonial.
For this I would like to thank you, and wish you all the best.
Kind Regards,
Rev. Dr. Douglas R Oberle
